Pre-prosthetic surgery

For various reasons the condition in your oral cavity may have to be improved surgically before high-quality dentures or bridgework can be inserted. This may require soft tissue or hard tissue (bone) surgery. Soft tissue surgery involves the gums and the mucous membranes of the mouth, whereas hard tissue surgery involves manipulation or augmentation of bone.
